Slack Integration - Common Problems

When working with Productmotion's Slack integration, there are common problems you may run into


Permissioning (Inviting @Productmotion Bot to the channel)

The @Productmotion Bot needs to be invited into a channel or conversation before it is able to read and submit data to your Feedback Inbox. To invite the bot, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the Icon on the top right of the channel indicating how many users are in the channel

  2. Click on the Integrations Tab

  3. Click Add Apps - Search for "Productmotion" and click on the "Add" button

That should be it! Once the Productmotion Bot is added, try the Slack submission and it should work
